摘要: Streptococcus mutans was detected in 38 of 156 infants harbouring 6–8 primary incisor teeth. The salivary level Strep. determined for each the mothers infant subjects. difference distribution levels within maternal populations infected versus non-infected statistically significant (P < 0.0001). In addition, frequency infection (0.58) approximately nine times greater when organism exceeded 105 colony-forming units (CFU) per ml relative to (0.06) observed reservoirs were less than or equal 103 CFU/ml.
