摘要: In-situ polymerization of pyrrole was carried out with zirconium oxide, in the presence oxidizing agent ammonium persulphate, to synthesize polypyrrole/zirconium oxide composites, by chemical oxidation method. The composites were synthesized various compositions viz., 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 wt. % pyrrole. powder X-ray diffraction spectrographs suggest that they exhibit semi-crystalline behavior. Fourier Transform Infra-Red Spectroscopy shows that, stretching frequencies are shifted towards higher frequency side. surface morphologies these studied using Scanning Electron Microscopy indicate particles embedded polypyrrole (PPy) chain, form multiple phases. Thermographs thermal analysis also imply have stronger stability than PPy. observation UV-VIS-NIR spectrum is proof an interaction between oxide. resistance on exposure a humid environment, increases from 144 ohm 483 ohm, increase humidity conditions 24 95.8 %. © 2014 Universal Research Publications.
