摘要: Sarcolemmal membranes isolated from guinea pig heart ventricles contained an ATP-dependent calcium-sequestering activity. Sarcolemmai calcium accumulation but not binding was enhanced by preincubation of with exogenous protein kinase, cyclic AMP, or isoproterenol. Protein kinase (EC 2.7.1.37) increased the V Ca2+ sarcolemma without any significant effect on affinity for Ca2+. The endogenous activity present in affected membrane phosphorylation. Cyclic AMP modestly, whereas histone it significantly. Exogenous also catalyzed phosphorylation these membranes. Endogenous and kinase-catalyzed hydroxylamine-insensitive. Ca2+-dependent ATPase 3.6.1.3) (extra ATPase) kinase.
