摘要: Rats immunized with microgram amounts of interphotoreceptor retinoid-binding protein (IRBP), a glycoprotein which localizes specifically in the eye and pineal gland, developed uveoretinitis pinealitis. The severity onset changes were found to be dose-related enhanced by B. pertussis bacteria. In general, inflammatory induced IRBP resembled those provoked S-antigen (S-Ag), but significant differences noted between two diseases. possible usefulness new experimental autoimmune disease is discussed.
