摘要: With the growing amount of experimental data produced in proteomics experiments and requirements/recommendations journals field to publicly make available described papers, a need for long-term storage public repositories arises. For such an upload one needs standardized format. Therefore, it is desirable, that proprietary vendor's software will integrate future export functionality using standard formats results defined by HUPO-PSI group. Currently not all search engines analysis tools support these formats. In meantime there provide user-friendly free-to-use conversion can convert into order wet-lab scientists creating files ready repositories. ProCon tool written Java identification mzIdentML Pride XML. It allows Sequest™/Comet .out files, from popular often used ProteomeDiscoverer® 1.x (x=versions 1.1 to1.4) stored LIMS systems ProteinScape® 1.3 2.1 PRIDE This article part Special Issue entitled: Computational Proteomics.
