摘要: Abstract The mouse anti-idiotypic monoclonal antibody (mAb) MK2-23 recognizes an idiotope in the antigen-combining site of immunizing antihuman high-molecular-weight melanoma-associated antigen (HMW-MAA) mAb 763.74. Administration with adjuvant conjugated to a carrier has been shown induce anti-HMW-MAA antibodies both syngeneic hosts and patients malignant melanoma. Adjuvant are required for induction immunity BALB/c mice immunized MK2-23. Whether also melanoma is not known cannot be deduced from results obtained animal model system. Therefore present study evaluated first time effect on immunogenicity xenogeneic host. Rabbits were selected this purpose, since they have constitutive expression HMW-MAA their normal tissues distribution similar that humans. combined use enhances rabbits markedly more than each them individually. Specifically, all keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH) mixed Freund9s (FA) produced which serological immunochemical assays specific IgG IgM. In contrast detected only one 3 FA KLH or without FA. These indicate active immunotherapy likely benefit adjuvant, provide additional evidence bears internal image HMW-MAA, suggest immune response elicited by T-cell dependent.
