Virtual Reality Hypnosis in the Treatment of Chronic Neuropathic Pain: A Case Report

摘要: Abstract This case report evaluates virtual reality hypnosis (VRH) in treating chronic neuropathic pain a patient with 5-year history of failed treatments. The participated 6-month trial VRH, and her ratings intensity unpleasantness dropped on average 36% 33%, respectively, over the course 33 sessions. In addition, she reported both no reduction for an 3.86 12.21 hours, after treatment sessions throughout VRH treatment. These reductions duration effects following were superior to those standard (non-VR) However, did not persist long periods time. findings support potential helping individuals refractory conditions.
