摘要: Summary Short-term hepatic injury was produced in rats by single i.p. injections of N -dimethylnitrosoamine, carbon tetrachloride, and cadmium sulfate, or partial hepatectomy. In all cases, the animals responded with varying serum titers embryonic α 2 -glycoprotein which could be detected as early 24 hours after treatment. Antigen LA, another constituent, never under above conditions. Long-term oral ingestion carcinogenic aminoazo dyes, -dimethylnitrosoamine aflatoxin B 1 , noncarcinogenic analogs dyes. The lesions induced were those classically obtained following such treatments: hepatocarcinoma, bile-duct carcinoma, cirrhosis, hepatitis, etc. associated these lesions, whereas LA specifically bearing hepatocarcinomas. Neither nor found tumors other organs than liver. Lipoprotein-esterase increased majority sera various lesions.
