摘要: Glycative stress from endogenous and exogenous advanced glycation end-products (AGEs) has been implicated to cancer development progression. Dicarbonyl compounds, the main AGE precursors crosslinked forms may directly react with proteins, lipids nucleic acids, modify their structure affect tissue microenvironment. They also induce elevation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) enhance cellular oxidative stress, an important regulator hallmarks. Moreover, activation AGE-receptor for (RAGE) signalling pathways mediates inflammation, autophagy apoptosis leading genomic instability initiation.
