Gratitude in Health Care: A Meta-narrative Review.

摘要: Research into gratitude as a significant sociological and psychological phenomenon has proliferated in the past two decades. However, there is little consensus on how it should be conceptualized or investigated empirically. We present meta-narrative review that focuses health care, with an emphasis research exploring interpersonal experiences context of care provision. Six meta-narratives from literatures across humanities, sciences, medicine are identified, contextualized, discussed: social capital; gifts; ethics; benefits gratitude; staff well-being; indicator quality care. Meta-narrative was valuable framework for making sense theoretical antecedents findings this developing area research. conclude greater attention needs to given what constitutes "evidence" call qualitative studies better understand shape role implications
