摘要: Three-dimensional models of complex astrophysical objects like galaxies or planetary nebulae have numerous applications in science, education and entertainment. The large distance these objects, however, makes it difficult to obtain depth information, conventional image-based 3D reconstruction algorithms modeling tools are most often not able faithfully reproduce their structure. Modeling is therefore typically performed manually by trained astronomers using specialized that incorporate additional information spectral Doppler shift measurements into the process. We present an extension one such tool, Shape, alleviates tedious part process automatically optimizing consistency with observational data. Our contribution significantly reduces necessary time for obtaining high-quality will be incorporated future releases Shape.
