摘要: Contemporary challenges in the production of digital planetarium shows include real-time rendering realism as well creation authentic content. While interactive, live performance is a standard feature professional digital-dome software today, support for physically correct astrophysical phenomena still often limited. Similarly, tools currently available show do not offer much assistance towards creating scientifically accurate models astronomical objects. Our paper presents recent results from computer graphics research, offering solutions to contemporary and modeling. Incorporating these algorithms into next generation dome display will help advance planetariums toward make full use their potential.
