摘要: In this study, a finite element-based model was developed to investigate the mechanical behavior of step-wise graded carbon nanofibre/phenolic nanocomposites. Four nanocomposites (FGNs), non-graded nanocomposite (NGN), and pure phenolic with same geometry total nanofiber content were designed, fabricated analyzed. Flexural tests conducted validate element model. Close agreement obtained between experimental results numerical predictions. The showed that flexural modulus highly influenced by compositional gradients.
