Synthesis and photoluminescence of liquid crystalline poly(1-alkynes)

摘要: Abstract Liquid crystalline poly(1-alkynes) with different functional bridges and lengths of alkyl spacer {[HCC(CH 2 ) 3 OBiphOCO(CH 10 CH ] n —[ 1 (3); Biph=4,4′-biphenyl] [HCC(CH m OCOBiphOCO(CH ( ); =3, 4]} are synthesized in high yields (up to 84%) by WCl 6 –Ph 4 Sn catalyst dioxane at 60 °C. Polymer (3) shows atypical SmA texture. Focal-conic textures phase are, however, observed ). Whereas emits weakly 367 nm, intense blue emissions (λ max ∼350 nm) ), whose intensity increases the length.
