摘要: Through the merging of neuroscience and education, neuroimaging will impact field early intervention as awareness grows concerning developing brain. The reauthorization Education Handicapped Act Amendments subsequent formation childhood special education has advanced best practices school psychology intervention. Functional led to advances in our understanding brain functions enabling neuroscientists, psychologists, educators challenge prevailing theories approaches employed schools today. Concerns abound when research introduces untested or unsupported instructional strategies into classroom settings based upon misinterpretation misunderstanding resulting data. Best within fields neuropsychology does provide information regarding how children learn provides guidance that should lead educational practices, but they must be neuroscientific evidence which either supports traditional challenges theories.
