摘要: Abstract Coal gasification is seen as an attractive way for hydrogen production. The main advantage of this approach the low fuel price compared to reforming natural gas. On other hand, considering EU climate policy, emission CO 2 has be reduced. capture from raw syngas should thus considered. purpose work propose implementation a fully “zero-emission” plant by introduction biomass into gasifier. structure been proposed and modeled. It composed basically gasifier, water gas shift reactors, acid removal units, pressure-swing adsorption process separation, combined cycle power production essential auxiliary components. analyzed installation evaluated energy exergy points view calculation utilization factor relative losses occurring in components system. Such enables determination contribution each component total system irreversibility. results indicate that highest loss takes place overall efficiency coal-to-hydrogen equal ca. 57%, while close 65%.
