摘要: Aim Although the influence on species richness of landscape attributes representing composition and spatial configuration has been well documented at scales, its effects remain little understood macroecological scales. We aim to assess role attributes, their relative importance compared with climate, habitat heterogeneity human (CHH) in particular, shaping broad-scale patterns. Location Mainland China. Methods Species data for mammals, birds, reptiles amphibians were derived from China Information Service. Together data, CHH variables class- landscape-level metrics calculated using grain sizes 50 km × km, 100 200 km. At these multiple each taxonomic group was correlated both ordinary least square (OLS) simultaneous autoregressive (SAR) models; variation partitioning used strength versus variables. Results In general, climate is most influential factor Landscape especially class-level can also explain considerable richness.Variation showed largely overlapped fractions explained between The pure explanatory power small amphibians, showing R2 1–3%, while it considerably larger 5–10%. environment–richness correlations scale dependency, but appeared show changes across range this study. Main conclusions addition variables, some patterns, birds. incorporation will be conducive better understanding drivers patterns modelling
