摘要: Loop mirror has been widely used in fiber optical devices and systems for it provides a smart way to make use of the birefringence properties can enhance sensitivity greatly. On other hand, slot waveguide is very promising sensing applications because their peculiar spatial mode profile. In this paper, we propose analyze loop-mirror-based (LMSW) sensor which be routinely fabricated modern high-volume complementary metal-oxide–semiconductor (CMOS) process. The finite element method (FEM) simulation results show that as high 0.8 orders magnitude than conventional birefringent loop mirror. High up 6 × 103 nm/RIU (refractive index unit) achieved by scheme.
