摘要: There is growing recognition of the importance nutritional factors in maintenance bone and joint health, that imbalance combined with endocrine abnormalities may be involved pathogenesis osteoarthritis (OA) osteochondritis dissecans (OCD). Despite this, dietary programs have played a secondary role management these connective tissue disorders. Articular cartilage critically dependent upon regular provision nutrients (glucose amino acids), vitamins (particularly vitamin C), essential trace elements (zinc, magnesium, copper). Therefore, supplementation nutraceuticals used conjunction non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) offer significant benefits to patients disorders, such as OA OCD. This article examines available clinical evidence for efficacy nutraceuticals, antioxidant C, polyphenols, fatty acids, mineral cofactors treatment related disorders humans veterinary species. also attempts clarify current state knowledge. It highlights need additional targeted research elucidate changes status potential alterations expression plasma membrane transport systems synovial structures pathophysiological states, so therapy future treatments better focused.
