摘要: Metal parts are brazed by means of an amorphous filler metal foil. The brazing foil, useful for stainless steels, has a composition consisting essentially about 0-10 atom percent iron, 0-20 chromium, 3-5 molybdenum, 5-35 cobalt, 14-19 boron and the balance nickel icidental impurities. ductile foil permits fabrication preforms complex shapes which do not require binders and/or fluxes necessary powders presently used to braze steels base alloys, exhibits excellent braze-metal high-temperature strengths.
