摘要: Abstract Rat mammary gland cells have been used to activate chemical procarcinogens mutagenic compounds in a culture system. Mutagenesis was tested Chinese hamster V-79 that were cocultured with the cells. The locus mutations for resistance ouabain and 6-thioguanine. Mammary separated into several fractions. Fractions enriched either epithelial or stromal could both mediate mutagenesis. mutation frequency related density of carcinogen 7, 12-dimethylbenz( )anthracene exhibited dose-dependent enhancement cytotoxicity when added cocultures, whereas hepatocarcinogen aflatoxin B 1 did not. This system may be useful examining some mechanisms organ-specific carcinogenesis also act as screening carcinogenic environmental contaminants.
