摘要: Post-operative ileus (PI) is an inevitable adverse consequence of abdominal surgical procedures. We performed a randomized study the effects herbal medicine dai-kenchu-to (DKT) on 24 patients with PI. Patients received either 15 g oral DKT or placebo daily for 14 days. The upper gastrointestinal motility, frequency secondary operation and recurrence PI were investigated. was significantly lower in receiving compared placebo. Oral administration clinically effective reducing both need further surgery
