摘要: Kampo medicine “Dai-kenchu-to” (DKT) has been used for treatment of ileus. The aim this study was to evaluate the role DKT on bacterial translocation (BT) model in rats. Rats were divided into following four groups: group 1, receiving only water, and groups 2, 3, 4, 100, 300, 1,000 mg/kg/day DKT. sacrificed 6 days after beginning fast, then mesenteric lymph node cultured. Inflammatory cytokines, intestinal integrity, apoptosis assessed. Incidence BT 3 (33%) 4 (16%) lower than 1 (66%). Interferon-γ expression significantly 1. Villous height number villus taller greater Apoptotic index This is first evidence that prevents by reducing inflammatory reaction maintaining integrity.
