摘要: Melittin, a bee venom peptide consisting of 26 amino acid residues, elicited high IgG and IgE antibody responses in mice BALB/c CAF1 strains, but not A/J, AKR, C57BL/6 strains. Greater than 80% the melittin-specific antibodies sera responder were found to bind hydrophilic carboxyl-terminal heptapeptide melittin. Three monoclonal obtained from by hybridoma technique. Two are IgG1 isotype one is isotype. One binds melittin, while other two do not. However, competitive binding studies suggest that all three Ig at same, or adjacent, site These findings, together with known amphiphilic property immunogenicity this consequence its cell surface phospholipids.
