摘要: Abstract Within gilt pools, incidences of delayed puberty attainment, failure to exhibit regular oestrous cycles and low first litter size are often high. Boar exposure is an effective method accelerating puberty; however, the timing response can vary greatly. Although, PG600 ® (400 IU PMSG 200 hCG; Intervet) induce a rapid synchronous ovulatory response, thus providing alternative boar contact, quality variable. This study compared effect PG600, either alone (NBC) or in conjunction with (BC), on attainment maintenance cyclicity. The effects mating these gilts at hormonally induced (pubertal) second oestrus ovulation rate early embryo survival were also studied. Eighty Large White cross terminal (Duroc) line used this study. was conducted two blocks, 10 allocated each four treatments block.
