摘要: Insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes are associated with elevated circulating levels of nonesterified FA (NEFA) lipoprotein remnants. The dyslipidemia is an important contributor to the excess arterial disease insulin diabetes, but mechanisms involved elusive. In present study we examined effect NEFA on macrophages. For this purpose, utilized human macrophages, prepared by treating THP-1 monocytes phorbol ester. We found that albumin-bound at physiological increase secretion granulocyte macrophage-colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF) macrophages in a dose-dependent manner. was registered as mRNA, amount GM-CSF secreted correlated accumulation TAG DAG cell. NEFA-induced rise appeared be mediated activation protein kinase C, probably acting extracellular signal-regulated kinases 1 being calcium dependent. speculate increased resident intima exposed chronically high NEFA, such those resistance, may contribute proatherogenic response cells.
