摘要: In responding to the published comments on our SPSSI Research Summary Media Violence, we note that several key themes emerge. assessing media violence research evidence, it is more informative and less biased draw conclusions based full range of findings than emphasize from individual studies. Using studies, clear consuming violent influences way people think feel, increases likelihood aggressive behavior. However, when placing such into real world settings, important consider exposure as one many risk factors for aggression rather a sole factor. This acknowledgment multiple causal does not make unimportant––it few can be addressed relatively easily inexpensively. To this end, researchers are encouraged now focus their efforts finding those moderate exposure–aggression link, policy makers professionals who work with children incorporate science practices decision-making.
