摘要: Abstract Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) consume both gasoline and grid electricity. The corresponding temporal energy consumption emission trends are valuable to investigate in order fully understand the environmental benefits. 24-h profile depends on different vehicle designs, driving, charging scenarios. This study assesses potential impact of PHEVs by considering scenarios defined power levels, locations, time. region selected for is South Coast Air Basin California. Driving behaviors derived from National Household Travel Survey 2009 (NHTS 2009) parameters based realistic assumptions consistent with projected deployments. Results show that reduction petroleum significant compared standard ability operate electricity alone crucial cold start reduction. benefit higher small. Delayed average better than immediate home, non-home increases peak loads.
