摘要: The beta-subunit of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG beta) is reportedly encoded by as many seven non-allelic genes or pseudogenes. Previous studies have identified a cluster three hCG beta gene copies and the single-copy lutropin-beta subunit (LH gene, but overlap this with two additional pairs has not been demonstrated, despite isolation 18 genomic clones. To define number organization copies, Southern blot analyses were performed using cDNA gene-flanking unique-sequence probes. data show linear arrangement six (or pseudogenes) that beta-IH present in single 58-kilobase EcoRI fragment. Our map indicates which cloned reflect somatic genotypes rather than recombinant artifacts will thus permit investigation factors regulating expression during gestation.
