Wave analysis of Airy beams and Airy Pulsed Beams

摘要: The Airy beam (AiB) has attracted a lot of attention recently because its intriguing features. We have previously provided cogent physical explanation for these properties by showing that the AiB is, in fact, caustic rays radiate from tail function aperture distribution. also introduced class ultra wide band (UWB) pulsed beams (AiPB), where key step been use proper frequency scaling initial field ensures all components propagate along same curved trajectory so wavepacket AiPB does not disperse. An exact closed form solution derived using spectral theory transients (STT) which is an extension well know Cagniard–de Hoop (CdH) method. In this paper we discuss and AiPB, present problem to relation between CdH method STT.
