Determination of chromium in urine by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry using different chemical modifiers

摘要: The effects of the chemical modifiers Eu, Mg(NO 3 ) 2 , Pd, Eu-Pd and Ni use longitudinally (with deuterium lamp background correction) transversally Zeeman effect heated atomizers on determination chromium in urine samples were studied. When used, absorption was too high for addition most species, such as Ni, rendering its unsuitable urine. Eu led to lower signals. However, when used larger signals observed a modifier. In contrast, with low not influenced by modifier, except 2 added. this case, atomization signal shapes sensitivity improved. characteristic masses (m 0 ) limits detection (3σ) 2.2 3.3 pg 0.02 0.04 µg Cr l –1 (using modifier) [using 2 ] atomizers, respectively. Recovery studies analysis standard reference materials certified performed asses accuracy. results real both correction procedures agreed well precision between 0.8 2.5%. Both can be recommended choice will depend instrument availability.
