摘要: In this work, methodologies were developed to determine aluminum (Al), cadmium chromium and lead in drinking water by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry using permanent modifiers. No use of modifier, iridium, ruthenium, rhodium zirconium (independently, 500mug) tested each one analyte through the pyrolysis atomization temperatures curves. As matrix is very simple, did not had occurred problems with background for all metals. The best results obtained was modifier. For aluminum, choice zirconium. selection modifier took into account sensitivity, form pulse low temperature (what contributes elevate useful life graphite tube). permanent, respectively, 1000 2500 degrees C a characteristic mass (1% absorbance, m(o)) 19 pg (recommended 20 pg). cadmium, respectively 400 1100 C, symmetrical peak m(o) 1.0 2200 5.3 5.5 700 2400 30 Water samples spiked metals four different levels inside acceptable values presented recoveries always close 100%. detection limits 0.1mugl(-1) cadmium; 0.2mugl(-1) chromium; 0.5mugl(-1) 1.4mugl(-1) aluminum.
