Ultratrace determination of cadmium by atomic absorption spectrometry using hydride generation with in situ preconcentration in a palladium-coated graphite atomizer

摘要: A very sensitive ETAAS method, with in situ trapping of the metal, is described for ultratrace determinations Cd liquid solutions. It based on volatile HG from a vesicular solution subsequent metal graphite platform coated Pd. This Pd coating, pyrolytic L'vov platform, acts as atomizer. Sodium tetrahydroborate (III) medium didodecyldimethylammonium bromide used to generate hydride sample solution. species trapped by pre-heated at 150 °C, preconcentrated then atomized 1600 °C and transient AAS signal measured. Detection limits (DL) observed are ng l–1 range (e.g., using 1.4 ml volume preconcentration DL was 60 l–1). Higher preconcentrations up maximum total deposited possible proposed methodology. The RSD ten replicate analyses 500 (0.7 Cd) 1.7%. combination vesicles-mediated ease decomposition coating provides convenient method enhancing sensitivity direct conventional or HGAAS.
