Requirement for the simian virus 40 small tumor antigen in tumorigenesis in transgenic mice.

摘要: To examine the role of simian virus 40 (SV40) large T and small t antigens in tumorigenesis animals, we generated transgenic mice which expressed either both SV40 or antigen alone under control mouse mammary tumor long terminal repeat. The repeat directs expression transgenes ductal epithelial cells several organs, including gland, lung, kidney, lymphoid cells. developed lung kidney adenocarcinomas, while those did not. Both types malignant lymphomas with similar frequencies latency periods. Our results show that cooperates inducing tumors slowly dividing kidney.
