摘要: During development, neural competence is conferred and maintained by integrating spatial temporal regulations. The Drosophila sensory bristles that detect mechanical chemical stimulations are arranged in stereotypical positions. anterior wing margin (AWM) arrayed with neuron-innervated bristles, while posterior (PWM) non-innervated. We found the COP9 signalosome (CSN) suppresses of non-innervated at PWM. In CSN mutants, PWM transformed into neuron-innervated, which attributed to sustained expression neural-determining factor Senseless (Sens). Sens through repression ecdysone signaling target gene broad (br) encodes BR-Z1 transcription activate sens expression. Strikingly, suppression initiated prepupa-to-pupa transition, leading downregulation, termination bristles. role repress br after transition distinct from its conventional activation, requires deneddylating activity multiple cullins, major substrates deneddylation. Several subunits physically associate receptors represses transcriptional level. propose a model nuclear hormone cooperate deneddylation machinery temporally shutdown downstream expression, conferring restriction on
