摘要: Wound healing involves a series of rapid increases in specific cell populations that prepare the wound for repair, deposit new matrices and finally, mature wound. Upon completing their tasks, these types must be eliminated from prior to progression next phase healing. The most logical method cellular down-regulation is through apoptosis. Apoptosis allows eliminations entire without tissue damage or an inflammatory response. This review discusses which cells dominate various phases repair how pattern may vary after differing injury. potential mechanisms involved inflammation fibrosis are also covered. studies support hypothesis apoptosis regulation discussed. evidence supporting signals induction examined. Finally, ends with presentation dysregulation can lead pathologic forms such as excessive scarring fibrosis. By understanding controlling one eventually develop therapeutic modalities minimize scarring, final pathway many disease processes.
