摘要: Abstract Objective. The enzymes cyclooxygenase (COX)-1 and -2 are necessary for the synthesis of prostaglandins. COX-2 is usually absent in normal cells upregulated expressed as a product "immediate early" gene during inflammatory processes. In previous studies, expression has been shown to be induced by proinflammatory cytokines, suggestions have made that overexpression suppresses apoptosis directly related tumor growth. We attempted determine relationship between invasion metastasis uterine cervical cancer COX comparing protein apoptosis, COX-1, tissues. Methods. subjects were 36 patients who FIGO stage IB underwent surgery at Ajou University Hospital. There 12 cases with lymph node or parametrial involvement. All tissues subjected immunohistochemical staining -2, TUNEL method detection, following results obtained. Results. Tumor confirmed cytokeratin separated into surface, stroma, site portions, which decreased was observed sites. all especially strong site. Therefore, it suggested may suppress cell When investigated according groups regard presence involvement, there statistically significant (Mann–Whitney U test) difference ( P value=0.040) stroma value=0.028). Conclusions. surgically treated patients, significantly when involvement present. These suggest downregulate apoptosic processes thus enhance metastasis.
