摘要: Incidence and trends in incidence of definite hypertension were analyzed based on 30 years follow-up 5,209 subjects the Framingham Heart Study cohort. Based pooling 15 two-year periods, per biennium increased with age men from 3.3 cent at ages 30-39 to 6.2 70-79, women 1.5 8.6 70-79. No consistent trend rates was evident for either sex 1950s through 1970s. The proportion hypertensive receiving antihypertensive medication has since 1954-58 exceeded 80 both 60-89 1979-81. data presented this report may serve as a baseline assessing impact future public health efforts primary prevention hypertension.
