摘要: Abstract Detailed mass spectroscopic investigation of a variety structurally related alkyl silylmethyl ethers reveals some novel types unimolecular decomposition gaseous radical cations. Among these are ether cleavages induced by anchimeric assistance silyl functions, elimination divalent silicium species and other unusual reaction pathways (e.g. carbene formation). An extensive comparison thermally electron impact processes is given the influences different structural parameters discussed in detail. With help recent techniques, as for instance collisional activation spectrometry, defocusing experiments, low ionisation energy measurements (12 eV) deuterium labelled precursors ion structure mechanisms established.
