摘要: Mechanical and physical properties of polypropylene (PP)/polystyrene (PS) blend, PP/PS/polystyrene-block-poly(ethylene-ran-butylene)-block-polystyrene (SEBS) ternary blend their composites with carbon nanofibers (CNF) were investigated. Composites exhibited superior compared to those binary blends. performance nanocomposites was intimately related phase morphology. PP/PS/SEBS/0.1 wt% CNF hybrid excellent impact strength (Four-fold increase PP/PS blend) ductility (12-fold in elongation at break, respect blend). Moreover, these displayed good tensile modulus (15% Young's modulus, PP/PS/SEBS are suitable for various end-use applications including automobile applications. Although crystallinity PP is decreased by the incorporation CNF, thermal stability remained almost unaffected. Contact angle measurements revealed that maximum hydrophobicity.
