摘要: Objectives: To evaluate outcomes after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with a drug-eluting balloon catheter (paclitaxel-coated) in patients artery bifurcation lesions. Background: The current practice of provisional stenting the main branch (MB) is reasonable; however, long-term results side-branch (SB) treatment are suboptimal. The use stents has not improved these results, regardless implantation technique, and could potentially lead to significant increase (late) thrombotic events. To short-term safety efficacy (DEB) lesions followed by branch, we set up DEBIUT Registry. Methods: This registry enrolled 20 eligible lesions. Patients received PCI paclitaxel-coated catheter, MB bare-metal stent. Acute angiographic clinical follow-up were performed 1 4 months. Results: The procedure was successful all patients. sequential predilatation DEB safe well tolerated. No acute or subacute closure side branches occurred treating DEB. All treated according technique; no placed SB. At 4-month major events vessel reported. Conclusion: The effective months following © 2008 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
