The effect of drought stress and super absorbent polymer (A200) on agronomical traits of sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) under field condition.

摘要: In many areas of Iran, the reproductive growth stage sunflower is exposed to drought stress. Therefore, investigation irrigation management in farm was necessary for increasing efficiency and decreasing water loss. The objective present study investigate effect different amounts super absorbent polymer (A200) levels stress on morphological characteristics, such as: head diameter, stem plant height, 100-seed weight, seed yield physiological relative content (RWC), chlorophyll concentration (cv. Master) under conditions. experiment carried out as a split plot based randomized complete block design with three replicates. Three (irrigation after 6, 10 14 days) five (0, 75, 150, 225 300 kg/ha) were set main sub-factors, respectively. Polymer added at fourteen leaf soil deepness root development. At this same stage, applied. Polynomial models each traits ANOVA fitted. results indicated that has decreased significantly all measured traits. study, shown significant decrease. After 6 days, resulted higher yields than other intervals. highest related kg/ha application lowest one days no polymer. Regarding limitation resources, could be useful strategy sustainability sunflower.
