摘要: High-performance liquid chromatography has become the separation technique of choice for monitoring generally thermolabile anticancer agents. With introduction electrospray mass spectrometry, coupling and spectrometry opened way to widely routinely applied drug monitoring. Real-time metabolism versus degradation can now be distinguished, since derivatization is no longer obligatory. This important anabolic catabolic pathways same agent, such as 5-fluorouracil. Detection limits almost equal those obtained with capillary gas chromatography-mass are realistic latest generation spectrometers, enabling quantitative analysis various agents their metabolites down low ng/ml level. Furthermore, sample clean-up downscaled markedly using column technologies, 10 cm×2.8 mm I.D. RP 18 columns. The electrophoresis today far from a routine application in Nevertheless, interesting applications have been reported selected present review.
