摘要: Vibratory energy transmitted through propagating waves generated by machine foundations can be detrimental to adjacent structures or sensitive equipment operating nearby. Most of the vibratory affecting nearby is carried surface that propagate in a zone close ground surface. Thus, for vibrating at moderate high frequencies, vibration amplitudes vicinity foundation reduced significantly installing an annular in-filled trench wall around it. An wave barrier reduces motion interception, scattering, and diffraction waves. This approach isolating from its surroundings known as active isolation. paper presents numerical investigation on isolation barriers three-dimensional viscoelastic half-space. A rigorous boundary element method (BEM) algorithm dynamic analysis solids has been used study effects various geometric material parameters performance barriers. Important dimensionless have identified design guidelines are presented.
