摘要: The vaporization and combustion of a miscible multicomponent droplet in quiescent atmosphere is analyzed by assuming transient-diffusive transport within the droplet, quasi steady diffusive-convective gas phase, ideal solution behavior for mixture. Results on binary show that owing to significant liquid phase diffusional resistance, process approximately consists an initial transient regime, intermediate, diffusion limited, almost final volatility limited regime. It further demonstrated entrapment volatile components rapidly heated interior may lead initiation either homogeneous or heterogeneous nucleation, which can result fragmentation parent with internal pressure buildup.
