摘要: There is a rising rate of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection in Nigeria. Good knowledge the demographic characteristics patients with HIV/AIDS may be great importance understanding its epidemiology Nigeria and could facilitate efforts at curtailing spread infection. The study was planned to determine factors Nigerian HIV conducted University College Hospital (U.C.H), Ibadan, located South West It retrospective attending U.C.H. from 1988 2002. data collected clinical records included age, sex, marital status, number spouses, tribe, occupation, education their religious affiliation. In conclusion, shows that presently an adult disease affecting most productive segment population regardless individual educational tribe it associated heterosexual intercourse.
