摘要: Ascites is common in patients with advanced ovarian carcinoma (AOC). Its drainage during surgery affects plasma proteins. We sought to correlate the volume of ascites oncological parameters disease, calculate its effect on proteins, and determine necessary substitution requirements a clinical way achieving that. evaluated 138 AOC who underwent primary cytoreductive surgery. Intraoperatively found postoperative production were evaluated. proteins determined using mathematic formula. Human albumin(HA) fresh frozen (FFP) used cover these requirements. The intraoperative was only stage while correlated residual disease. Optimally debulked had mean 128 mL day 1 compared 668 suboptimally debulked. This required 3 5–7 days, respectively, drop <50 mL. Plasma fell their minimum level (88.9 versus 80.8%) second day. protein deficit calculated be 379 691 g/day, respectively. substituted by administering 2 HA FFP for 3–6 days. homeostasis A acute 12–20% monitored 2. can managed
