摘要: Abstract High levels of a renin-like enzyme were found in submaxillary gland spontaneously hypertensive (SH) male rats. The activity increased with age. Similar high measured the normotensive strain rats from which SH derived, while low two other strains. Enzyme not markedly lower females and gonadectomized males, as has been observed mice. It is concluded that rat appears to be linked development genetic hypertension.
