摘要: We describe our semi-automatic segmentation of whole-body diffusion-weighted MRI (WBDWI) using a Markov random field (MRF) model to derive tumor total diffusion volume (tDV) and associated global apparent coefficient (gADC); demonstrate the feasibility these indices for assessing burden response treatment in patients with bone metastases. WBDWI was performed on eleven diagnosed metastases from breast prostate cancers before after anti-cancer therapies. Semi-automatic incorporating MRF all below C4 vertebra by an experienced radiologist over eight years clinical experience body DWI. Changes tDV gADC distributions were compared overall determined imaging, markers findings at serial follow up. The technique possible although erroneous volumes interest generated one patient because poor fat suppression pelvis, requiring manual correction. Responding showed larger increase (median change = +0.18, range -0.07 +0.78 × 10(-3) mm2/s) non-responding -0.02, -0.10 +0.05 mm2/s, p 0.05, Mann-Whitney test), whereas significantly +26%, +3 +284%) responding -50%, -85 +27%, 0.02, test). is feasible metastatic disease this pilot cohort 11 patients, could be used quantify median ADC treatment.
