摘要: Rifaximin is an unabsorbed oral antibiotic showing anti-inflammatory properties in human pathologies like irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory disease. In veterinary medicine, rifaximin primarily used the treatment of dermatological diseases all animal species, therapy prophylaxis mastitis cows endometritis cattle horses. The aim this preliminary study was to evaluate on primary cell cultures from bovine endometrium which response induced by Lipopolysaccaride (LPS) treatment. Epithelial stromal cells were isolated separately incubated for 24 h with 1 μg mL-1 LPS after (10, 50 100 μmol L-1 ) or dexamethasone (10 pre-treatment h. Supernatants collected interleukin (IL)-6 IL-8 accumulation measured ELISA. dose dependently inhibited LPS-induced increase IL-6 cells, whereas epithelial it not possible detect any these interleukins. reduced production, a potential effect that opens up new possibilities use drug uterine diseases.
